Welcome
The Lane Cove Community Men’s Shed is a not-for-profit charity organisation with a fully equipped woodwork workshop where skilled and unskilled men can share time with each other, swap yarns and work together on community projects. Members make and repair furniture, toys, craft items or work on their own personal projects.
Many items are donated to community groups whilst some are sold to buy materials and new tools for the Shed.

What Is A Shed?
Men’s Sheds are about promoting men’s health, in particular social, emotional, and mental health. The congenial and friendly environment of a Shed enables older males to interact with their peers and discuss day-to-day events while creating something with their hands. Woodwork is simply the catalyst for bringing men together.
“Men’s Sheds are not just fixing furniture and building toys, they are fixing men and building communities.”
Our Supporters
The Shed is very grateful to these organisations for their help over many years.
